Centenary Run / Walk

Join us for our Centenary Run / Walk at the Ecos Centre on Saturday 22nd June at 1:30pm. To celebrate the first 100 years of St Louis we are asking all pupils, past pupils, staff and families to take part in a fun run / walk around the beautiful surroundings of the Ecos Centre. But don’t worry we won’t ask you to run 100K – just 5K, and you can even walk it, it’s the taking part that counts!

Registration is now open via THIS LINK.  There will be goodie bags for everyone and a chance afterwards to catch up with old friends over tea, coffee and refreshments at the Ecos Hub.

Organised by the Friends of St Louis in association with Ballymena Runners, all proceeds from the Centenary Run / Walk will go towards providing additional support and extra-curricular activities for pupils. While Government funding provides the school with the resources for day to day teaching it unfortunately does not contribute towards the cost of these activities.

We rely on parents and friends of St Louis to help provide these as well as the additional counselling, mentoring, literacy and numeracy support that many pupils benefit from. Some of the diverse extra-curricular activities that St Louis provides includes transport to GAA matches across Ulster, enabling the fashion designers of the future to showcase their talents at Junk Couture in Dublin, Gaeltacht visits, after school clubs such as chess and eco-Council and public speaking competitions in England.
